When I made the decision to attend Lees-McRae College, I was making a decision to step out of my comfort zone and take a risk. As an 18 year old, it was not an easy decision, but one that I am glad that I followed through with. My time at Lees-McRae was amazing and I cherish the opportunity to obtain my undergraduate degree in such an amazing part of the world.

Lees-McRae had been known as a top school for cycling and as a very keen and competitive cyclist in high school, I wanted to continue racing my bike and pursuing an undergraduate degree and I was fortunate that Lees-McRae offered me the opportunity to do both.

The college only consisted of 600 students on campus which made our classes very intimate. These small classes allowed me to develop fantastic relationships with my professors that would put as much work into helping you as you did in helping yourself which is something that I took full advantage of.

My time at Lees-McRae really developed me as a person, both as a young professional and an individual alike. My experience set me up to go straight into the world of work and I had a great time along the way.
